Went to the @basquiatkingpleasure show, an exhibition hosting 200 works and a lot of them have never been seen before, of Basquiats paintings and photos, and memoirs of his time here, one of the most beautiful informative, shows I’ve been too for any artist, Curated and put together by his younger sisters, You can feel the love in this show, Anyone in NY who can see this show, really should What I learnt was, How imperative it is to always be authentically you in your work (whatever your work is) and though many try, there really never will and never can be another Jean-Michel May his legacy live on 👑
