His new album is part of a musical process of reclamation and healing. Cochemea has toured and recorded with Sharon Jones, Kevin Morby, Jon Batiste, Archie Shepp, Amy Winehouse, Antibalas, Budos Band, The Roots, David Byrne, Beck, Rick Rubin, and Quincy Jones among many others.
