Sometimes Monday calls for a Martini! One of my favorite variations is the The Gibson, which in simplistic terms subs in pickled onions for olives. I love Classic Cocktail history, which is generally murky with origin & backstory. The Gibson is so dang murky with many stories that I couldn’t comfortably confirm origin. Feel free to do the deep dive or share what you’ve heard. THE GIBSON 2.5 oz Gin 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth Pickled Onions Stir properly and strain into a chilled cocktail glass (Martini, Coupe or Nick & Nora). To chill : either fill with ice & water 💦 prior to the built or keep them in a freezer (my preferred method). As always, cheers my friends!
