It’s so important to keep your hair tangle free to optimize longevity and retain optimal condition of your extension hair! My favorite brush of choice is a boar/nylon mixed bristle brush as it helps distribute the oils evenly down the entire hair shaft while not aggressively disrupting the cuticle layer. Just make sure you DO NOT brush the top of the weft, it WILL ruin your wefts and could ruin the installation of the extensions. Tip 2- Use a high quality hair oil/serum multiple times a day to keep the hair hydrated, nourished, shiny and in optimal condition plus it help keep the hair tangle free. My FAVORITE is Goldie Locks Signature Serum! It also protect the hair from UV damage and future breakage. It also can be used on hair without extensions for the same amazing benefits, and holy cow the smell is intoxicating in the best of ways! Tip 3- ALWAYS use salon professional products ALWAYS! Extensions are a huge investment and a luxury service. Do not ruin your investment by skimping on quality home care. Many products are not formulated to keep extension hair in tip top shape so it’s super important to make sure you purchase salon professional products that will keep your hair in the best of shape giving you the most optimal longevity out of your hair!
