i owe it all to my best friend @stanleytucci before this trip, i had never left the country. before this, i had kinda put away my acting aspirations as a “side gig” and evaluated all other career paths as backup. meanwhile, this is all i’ve ever wanted since i was 13. i met my 13 year old self again in florence. i also met incredible friends and fellow creatives who i am convinced i knew in a past life. maybe it was the old city but it all just felt familiar. i gained a lot from this experience, from learning my worth to confidence in singing & acting, it was the most life changing month of my life. however, the most important thing i gained was community. being able to walk on set with filmmakers and actors from all over the world and come together to create a vision was the most rewarding aspect. i’ll never forget this trip and the memories i’ve made in the beautiful city of florence. i’ll miss the jazz club most of all. til we meet again, arrivederci firenze! ⚜️
