Marathoner. Running is my personality now. But really I am still processing yesterday and how unspeakably incredible the whole day was. Running through all 5 boroughs truly felt like a love letter to New York...all the cheering crowds brought their own distinction to each neighborhood...it was just so special. I honestly think I smiled 99% of the time...having thousands of random strangers screaming your name will have that effect. And any second that the doubt started to creep in there was another onlooker there to cheer me on and motivate me. It was the biggest block party I’ve ever been to and it made me fall in love with NYC all over again. The best of humanity was on display really. Endless gratitude to everyone who supported me on all my training runs, donated to my fundraiser, tracked me, wished me well, and came out to cheer yesterday.
