A short film I cast for. ’All The Little Things' follows Adae a young Black creative in an advertising agency, we begin to see how a series of interactions threaten to bring buried tensions and fresh resentments to a boiling point. I was drawn to getting involved with All The Little Things because of the message. It's something that isn't spoken about a lot especially in workspaces. Regular racial micro-aggressions can affect our mental wellness a lot, especially when it’s constant. The film shows a snapshot of what it's like being in a workspace, dealing with microaggressions and how it chips away at you. It's 'all the little things' that people don't really notice. To create a safer environment for Black people in all industries, we need to address these problems and ensure there is a space where people feel safe and confident to address them.
