This nearly-forgotten tower outside of Rome was covered in brambles with a collapsed roof—until Paola Igliori (@paolaigliori) and her son, Filippo Chia (@filippocastelloromitorio), got their hands on it. Chia re-created the volume of the old house through plaster walls tinted in the natural Verde Veronese pigment. Here, the sofa is from the 1920s, the Roman walnut armoire from the 1820s. The 19th-century cocktail table is French. The curtains are of a striped Cesari silk.
