THE PANDEMIC IS A PORTAL. The 1st edition of ‘Armory Access: Curated’, a digital exhibition series, launched last week. It expands on the fair’s curatorial programming and brings together galleries and artists presented at @thearmoryshow. This first iteration was curated by Daniel S. Palmer @ddotpalmer, Curator @publicartfund. The title and theme were inspired by Arundhati Roy’s essay in the Financial Times (April 2020) and expands on Roy’s thesis that this pandemic could potentially provide an opportunity to break with the past, reconcile with current injustices, and imagine the world anew. The 2nd edition of the series is showing in June.
