[2/6] Now you can have your takeaway cake (or coffee), and eat the packaging too! 🍰 Introducing the second start up from @oceanimpactorg's 2022 Impact Accelerator Program, Brisbane-based @uuvipak 🥣 Founders Shafali and Andy are passionate about designing for a better world, which led them to design a 100% biodegradable material from organic waste which composts within days (and under normal circumstances – not a fancy, industrial waste processing plant. Perfect!). Their first product launch is a line of takeaway containers which are not only 100% compostible but also edible, and vegan. The only waste product from the entire production process is water – and they're figuring out how to recycle that, too 🐠 What other smart products do you reckon they could make with this material?
