My idea of art has always been about reaching towards the infinite. When I discovered Tarkovsky, it felt like I was witnessing that in cinema for the first time. I like to think every artist has a family tree that transcends time and space. It’s up to us to dig through the past to find out who those people are and why we connect with them. Tarkovsky is definitely one for me. Happy 90th Birthday to the Master.
