Wishing a happy birthday to my Mom who would’ve turned 70 today. Yesterday my dad gave me this painting she made in 1978 of the view from the kitchen window of their Park Slope apartment. It had been stored away in a closet and I had never seen it or knew she had painted at all until yesterday. I’m still learning new things about her all the time. I’m excited to get this framed and have it as a reminder of her many talents and creativity.
