If your kids get upset or throw tantrums when you end screen time, here are 3 quick tips we always recommend: 💙 Be sure that the media they’ve been consuming is not overstimulating (sounds, busy animations and flashy colours, etc). This can cause dysregulation which may lead to tantrums. ❤️ Give them a warning 10 and even 5 minutes before their screen time is ending so it does not feel abrupt. 💛 Try to determine what they really like about the screen activity to then immediately transfer them to something that relates. For example, were they creating visual artwork?
