✨THE BEAR MR. BEEF SANDWICH POP-UP IN LA✨ Mr. Beef, the Chicago Italian Beef sandwich spot that inspired the Original Beef of Chicagoland from the TV show The Bear, is popping up in Los Angeles at Uncle Paulie’s on 3rd Street for this weekend only (July 13-14), and you need to try it! Tips & tricks if you plan on going: ⭐️ The cast WAS THERE, including Jeremy Allen White (Carmy) who was actually cooking sandwiches and Edwin Lee Gibson (Ebraheim) and Ricky Staffieri (Ted Fak) who were serving them. I also spotted Gillian Jacobs (Tiff) and Lionel Boyce (Marcus) among others hanging at the pop-up! ⏰ They’re open from 11am-3pm, and I got there at 11:15. We got our sandwiches at around 2, making it an almost three hour long wait. ☀️ The majority of the line is in direct sunlight, so be sure to wear sunscreen! 🍧 Lemon Italian ice by Coco’s to Go-Go, from the show’s culinary producer Courtney Storer, is also available for $6, and you can walk up to the front and get some while you wait in line to stay cool! 🥪 If you want the sandwiches from The Bear, order the Coco’s Uncle Beef for $16.50. You can get it hot (with spicy giardiniera) or not (just roast beef) and dipped (au jus) or not. I’d recommend hot and dipped, but I also tried not and not and it was still BOMB.
