I contracted COVID on my way back to Providence this weekend. So, I made the (smart) choice to isolate in Boston because I have so many beloved friends here. This magnificent whole wheat challah was dropped off by one of my friends this morning. And another friend offered to loan me her dog Gato to raise my spirits. And my Inbox is brimming with concerned queries. While I love living in the President’s House in Providence, nothing can compare to being surrounded by so much love and support. Meanwhile, after a crummy day yesterday, I’m feeling much, much better today. Hurrah for science! Hurrah for vaccines! I hope everyone has a Thanksgiving as surrounded by love and support as am I.
