Nos dias 20 e 22 de setembro vamos estar em turnê nos Estados Unidos para o lançamento do nosso livro “Festival Latinidades - Memórias e Utopias de Mulheres Negras” @jaqueffernandess, idealizadora e diretora geral do Festival Larinidades, vai contar como o Festival Latinidades tem sido uma plataforma para o trabalho e reconhecimento de mulheres negras nesses quinze anos, através de formações gratuitas e apresentações artísticas. ____ Jaqueline Fernandes, a Brazilian cultural activist, will be giving a book talk about the Latinidades Festival in Brazil, held annually since 2008. It is the largest Black feminist festival in the world and Fernandes is its cofounder. The Festival has been a platform for the work and knowledge of black women. In 15 years, it has reached more than 350,000 people as a direct audience with free training activities and artistic presentations. Latinidades Festival - Memories and Utopias of Black Women describes the festival and its political and cultural impact on Latin America.
