Welcome back to Mastering a Perm Rod Set ✨Part 2: The Take Down✨ I strongly believe that the take down process is just as important as installing your perm rods. Here are some tips that have helped me with achieving my desired look with this style. Tip #1: a successful take down process, starts with making sure that your hair is COMPLETELY dry. I usually let my hair air dry the night after completing this hairstyle. Then, the next day I sit under my hairdryer for 1.5 to 2 hours. Tip #2: when unraveling perm rods, twist in the opposite direction gently. Taking your time while doing this part, will decrease any frizz and tangles while taking out your perm rods. Tip #3: just like any other hairstyle, applying oil to your hands is essential to prevent any unwanted frizz and flyaways. Tip #4: when picking out my hair, I pick ONLY from the root to the middle of my hair. I DO NOT pick the ends where the curls are. My rule of thumb is: the more you pick the more frizz you will create. I pick until I achieve my desired look. 🎥: @afrozuri_
