#CampTeton #WineCave We mentioned a rug remnant wall treatment in our last post that our friends @woven.is helped us to realize. This vestibule is entered through the rammed earth walls/ floors of the adjacent dining room (you can see this doorway on the right hand side of the last post's image) and visitors become completely enveloped in the texture, pattern and color. It was important to us to carry the sense of romance that the dining room fosters into this area so that there is no experiential disruption during bathroom breaks. A faux painted speaker ensures that the music vibe never gets interrupted and we matched the soft, warm lighting that the alabaster fixture and fireplace produce with a simple, blackened brass fixture from @alliedmaker to throw a touch of light on the face for quick makeup checks. The vestibule received only a simple down light from @urbanelectric to highlight the variation in the remnant textures. This consistency in both lighting and music means that you come back to the table in the relaxed and glowy mood you left it in.
We feel pretty safe in saying that no one else on earth will have a powder room like this one!
