I’m having trouble putting this post together because I don’t quite want to believe that my summer is over. The past three months have, quite frankly, been the best three months of my life. College took a lot of the joy out of music for me. Once my peers began treating certain music in certain regards, I began to feel very separated and as if my talents were belittled. Last weekend, the Joe Brown Band played my music at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course it is my responsibility to maintain my love for my craft, however I wanted to thank everyone who told me that I can do it this summer. You are fuel and inspiration to me. I also wanted to thank my amazing friends, family, intern class, coworkers, and bandmates. I hope that you feel how much I love you each. I hope that anyone supporting my music can feel that. This is truly my life source and nothing has made me more sure of that than this summer. Thank you and I love you, Joe
