I love Hummingbirds. I feel deeply connected to them. When they fly over me or sit in the trees, I feel peace. It’s like they are checking on us, and I often say “Hi Nate!” Then I have a conversation with them. My kids think I’m insane. Here’s the thing...I don’t know if Nate is actually a hummingbird now. BUT, if Nate HAD turned into a bird, I believe he would have picked one that was small and fast...two traits he did not possess during his time on Earth. Yesterday, a hummingbird got stuck in my best friends house. She asked me to help him find his way home.
