Catch Soundings artist Kite in two performances---one on zoom, and one at Kansas City Art Institute---this week! ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Wednesday, 9/28, as part of the Singapore Art Museum's Skill Futures series of zoom lecture-performances, the award-winning Oglála Lakȟóta performance artist, visual artist, composer, and academic offers Tȟaŋmáhel. In this composition, Kite crafts a visual score composition and process of score-reading that derive ideologies from traditional Lakȟóta artmaking as seen in quillwork and beadwork, translated from the aftermath of a waking or sleeping dream.
