Humbling night.... This thing that I fell into over 30 years as a young kid, that was really just a job to put a bit of cash in my pocket when my parents couldn’t has given me more than I could ever imagine. Who would have thought that this little kid from downtown manhattan would make it this far. It’s a bit of luck, a lot of hard work and perseverance, a few good decisions and a lot of sacrifice. I’m a small part of the equation, this is a team sport and I’m just 1 piece of the puzzle. I want to thank my crew, too many to name all here, that day in and out do the work that makes these restaurants real, without them they are just empty rooms. We certainly are creating something special here in FiDi, I feel it deep down in my core, as my grandma always said, we fooled them again, haha. the work really starts today, we are taking this moment and using it to push our team, this is just the beginning and we are only going up from here.
