🥁 Track list reveal 🥁 *album out this Friday* Swipe —————> From the jump, my idea for this “solo” record was to bring in as many collaborators as possible; naturally @floralportrait (jason) and @freemanleverett were along for the whole ride, but I wanted to shout out the other folks involved. I’m so grateful for everyone’s contributions and jazzzzed about how it all turned out 💕 so, without further ado, here’s a breakdown of the record: 1️⃣ Flowers for Inez — featuring some killer sax by @orville_redenbacher 2️⃣ Beachfront Bossa — featuring amazing lead vocal and harmonies from @rosehotel_ 3️⃣ Boys for the Summer — a remake of an older tune that I was itching to try again ! 4️⃣ Lovely Hula Girl — this duet with @liaxiomara is a reimagining of a ‘50s Hawaiian hit that has been mostly lost to time. 5️⃣ One for Mr. Byrd — An original composition by @varietystomp and me that is a duet between vibraphone and pedal steel. It’s an homage to the late steel guitar master Jerry Byrd. And of course a shout out to the other essential folks involved: @jesse_at_the_glow for mixing and mastering @rubnogs + @b1g_revelat1on for the greatest video of all time. @docutrent for the amazing photos you’ll be seeing the next few weeks @jbflyers for their amazing graphic design for the album art ( reveal soon !!)
