I captured this light painting photo while I was in the Galena Meadows of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. To get this shot, I used a night sky planning app to find a metal statue that would align the best with the Milky Way as it rose in the sky. I set my @sonyalpha A7rIV camera on a 20 second long exposure and manually focused on the statue with my Sony 16-35 mm G Master lens. I also used a warm color temperature on my light to get close to the look of fire from the dragon.
