After his DJ debut at @kwia.berlin last Sunday for our bi-monthly @suns.berlin events, Marcelo (@alqaede) will be my guest tonight for this third episode of &So on. We will talk about his baby : @reif.life & the second event they are throwing this Friday 26th of August at Panorama bar. REIF is a multifaceted cultural movement taking the shape of records, community activities, and a loose alliance of international artists. The primary interest of the collective is to curate events and programs as well as craft multicultural happenings which include different expressions of thought, identity, play, experience, and togetherness. In parallel to their first label release, the compilation 01 (December 2021) which featured artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Cali Rose, KARL HOLMQVIST, Amsara, rRoxymore, and Jeff Mills, REIF curated a four-part program called Sonic Catharsis for Centre D’Art Contemporain Geneve. The follow-up compilation 02 (June 2022) presented twenty-six new tracks by CRYSTALLMESS, CEM, Ron Trent, Carminho, Richie Culver, Emma DJ, BABY NYMPH, and No Bra, among others.
