Yesterday I went to set thinking it was just a normal day, as we began shooting, Soph said they wanted to put on a song. Over the studio speakers Shel’s voice came on, asking my grandma for my hand in marriage. And then his voice singing, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”. The studio doors swung open and Shel walked in and got down on one knee. I was in complete shock. I’ve known for what seems like forever that Shel is my person. That I want to spend everyday for the rest of our lives together. It was the best moment of my life as some of the closest people in our lives poured into the room.
