:: Hello all - just want to say a huge congratulations to Conor on the release of his first @manmadesunshine song (which to be honest is a better name than Nothing But Thieves). We think you'll love it. Have a read below and look out for the song on Wednesday :: Hello everyone, I have some news I’d like to share with you. I’ve made a solo EP under the name Man-Made Sunshine. During the pandemic I had time and space to reflect, as many of us did, and discovered that my head was filled with trapped emotions and unprocessed memories trying to get out, stuff that I needed to get a handle on. Pieces of my life were floating about that I needed to put together so I could move forward. I decided to write it all down and put it together in song form. Naturally, having done that, I showed the results to the rest of the band. The boys provided a ton of love and encouragement and persuaded me to push the boundaries and experiment further. I know I don’t need to say this, but obviously I am not leaving the band. I’m just doing something I really needed to do. NBT things are brewing, and we’ll share more with you in the near future. I'd like to thank the boys and our managers for their support in this project, as it has proved to be a healing chapter in my life. This EP is very dear to me, and full of whatever I am. It’s five songs about reflection, growth, and inner love, coming to terms with oneself. The first song “Life’s Gonna Kill You (If You Let It)”, is out on the 28th.
