I have been counting down for today, and for this man to be back in my arms🤍 some weeks when he’s traveling, the girls and I are in such a groove, that the time goes by fast. But weeks like this week.. being without him has never felt lonelier. I think when people imagine SAHM life, they just think of the daily tasks and see a flexible, easy, day to day life.. But what they forget is that we are also the emotional stability for our kids. It’s so much deeper than chores, or pick-ups and drop-offs. It’s navigating through teaching emotional regulation to your kids, while trying to regulate yourself. And without a partner, that can feel like a lot at times. Then add going through a hurricane.. PHEW. I’m ready for hug🤍🫶🏻
