In 1997 @instylemagazine sent me to Nashville where I spent the good part of a week photographing Naomi, Ashley and Wynonna Judd. I had worked with Ashley a number of times but it was my first time meeting her Mom and sister. The three of them could not have been more gracious and accommodating both as hostesses and photo subjects, oozing Nashville charm and Southern hospitality, making it one of those assignments us photographers dream of doing. I went on to photograph Ashley’s wedding in Scotland where I got to spend more time capturing this family’s deep love and devotion to one another. I am so sorry for the loss Ashley, Wynonna, their families, friends, and everyone who loved the Judds and their music is experiencing.
