spontaneous creativity is my favorite🤩 @katrinajones.irl was actually doing a video project with my roommate @emelinefilms when i came home and i sat there for a while watching them work and create. and as i sat i realized some flowers that i had bought for another shoot back in november (!!!) matched Kat’s eye makeup perfectly! at the end of the video shoot, i asked my boyfriend if he could hold flowers beside her face for me, and i grabbed some stems to play with in the foreground and we got to work. this probably took about 10 minutes in total but it’s some of my favorite photos i have taken. you never know what your mind will think of when you’re still. i find stillness the hardest to tap into when i’m in new york surrounded by the hustle and bustle of everyone. so this was really nice!
