Instead of placing mothers on a pedestal as ethereal goddesses once a year, how about treating all women and birthing people like fully autonomous beings in actual absolute control of their bodies and decisions every day of the year. I am lucky and privileged enough to have chosen the life I lead, the children I have and I am forever grateful for all of it. In fact, I fucking love it.
