Needed some positive shark vibes. Here I am with @louisaguirre in Fakarava, Tahiti surrounded by hundreds of sharks. And what are they doing? Nothing. Just chilling. Not eating all the fish. Not eating us. Just calmly swimming. This is how sharks live. We only see images of them after they are dragged by a hook 35mph struggling for their lives or when they mistakenly bite someone thinking they’re a fish. Which happens 6-10 times a year globally. This is what they are doing all the time, keeping our oceans clean. But you’d never know that unless you dove with them. Do not listen to these fishermen they just don’t want to be told what to do. They are killing our ocean’s best natural doctors. Please share.
