Tulum, you are unreal. This place is a literal dream. Never would’ve imagined my job as a makeup artist could take me to a place as beautiful as this. I am SO thankful for my brides and for them choosing me 😭 it’s definitely a pinch me moment. Being here has taught me a few things. 1- different countries are at such a different pace than America. People sit and enjoy their food and time with others for HOURS. You are never rushed here. Getting the bill can easily take over an hour, and you usually have to ask them for it or you will wait awhile to get it. 2 - I miss my kids so much. It’s crazy being in the every day moments and being overwhelmed and overstimulated and feeling like you need a break. And then the second I get one, I miss them. I just keep thinking about them playing in the sand. 3 - you absolutely NEED time with your spouse. This time with my husband has reminded me of how we fell in love 11 years ago. How we are not JUST as parents. It’s really magical being able to have those moments again. And 4 - did I say how freaking lucky I am to be here????
