Santé to Résonance! 🍷✨✨ 📍 @danielssteakhouse | Fort Lauderdale, FL 🍷 @resonancewines | Willamette Valley, OR Last week, I had the pleasure of joining a small group of media at a fabulous wine dinner hosted by certified organic Résonance Wines, a Maison Louis Jadot-owned wine project planted in the Willamette Valley. 🏞️ We kicked things off (and winded them down) with a celebratory toast courtesy of Taittinger before exploring four wines — one very well-balanced (not-so-oaky!) Chardonnay and three very different but lovely Pinot Noirs. 🥂 Some pours were distinctly single-vineyard (including one from the 44-year-old home vines) while others were blends with grapes from vineyards ranging from Yamhill to Dundee; all infused with special notes and unique hints of the high-elevation terroir, from volcanic soil to marine sediment. 🌋 The family of wines paired exceptionally well with the array of seafood and meat dishes — without following strict red vs. white food protocols. Standalone sips starred on their own but evolved once married with rich bites. 🤌 In addition to good company, winemaker Guillaume Large’s charming tales of his vino-infused adventures from France to Oregon made for a truly enjoyable night. 😊 If you’re a fan of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, add Résonance to your list without hesitation. And for those over the buttery Chardonnay movement, this winery represents a refreshing U.S. take on the beloved grape. 🍇 Online price points range from $36 to $100 with $25 ground shipping on 6-12 bottles. Locally in South Florida, you can find a bottle or two at Total Wine, or of course, at Daniel’s. 🛒 #wine #resonancewine #willamettevalleywine #foodie #winedinner #fortlauderdale #pinotnoir #chardonnay #cheers
