That’s a wrap on Noughts & Crosses series 2!!!! 🎭 When I was a kid and all through my teenage years I boxed up and down the country in random school halls, working men’s clubs and the occasional hotel...they ranged from a Premier Inn in Stevenage to the Grosvenor in Mayfair. Didn’t have any specific dream at the time, was just being present and enjoying myself. That leads me to one of the best pieces of advice I ever got, it was from my boxing coach Grant. He told me to make sure I always “have fun and leave it all in the ring”, I took that and ran with it to be honest because more often than not I went in the ring and totally disregarded any game plan and just started swinging, sometimes it worked, other times it didn’t. When I think of this job and everyone involved we certainly had fun and left it all in the ring...or should I say “left it all on set”. We came prepared but sometimes we had to just be present, start swinging and fight for what we believed in. Another bit of boxing advice was “if in doubt jab out”, naaa if in doubt spit your gum shield out and go for the ears! Feeling very proud looking back at the memories shared with everyone over the last few months. Thankyou to all that made it possible.
