Our @feminist Gender Studies educators! 💜 It turns out that the desire to exclude people who are directly impacted by a basic reproductive right like abortion, is rooted in the exact same sexist misogyny that has taken that right away from so many people to begin with. For those of you who are genuinely interested in learning more about this, @renegadescienceteacher did an excellent video explaining the fallacy of binary sex and breaks down things like gametes and organs. For anyone who is committed to forming their sense of self worth from the exclusion and marginalization of other people who are also impacted by the system of oppression that you are both suffering under AND perpetuating, take a nap. Drink some water. Get over your ego and privilege. Either own up to your desire to exclude people who are directly impacted by reproductive health and start working on unlearning that garbage, or get out of the way. Intersectional feminism is the only feminism.
