La Iglesia de San Jaime, patrón de la ciudad, se sitúa en la cúspide del casco antiguo, en el cerro denominado Canfali. Fue construida en el siglo XVIII con un estilo neoclásico y se encuentra coronada con una cúpula azul de estilo mediterráneo. 🤩⛪️ En su interior alberga un símbolo fuertemente entroncado con los creyentes oriundos, la Virgen del Sufragio, patrona de Benidorm. La Virgen cuenta allí con una capilla donde se puede ver la pequeña talla que fue encontrada en una barca a la deriva en el mar. The Church of ‘Saint James’ dedicated to the patron saint of the town, is set at the very top of the Old Town on a hill called Canfali. It is a Neoclassical building, built in the 18th Century with the typical blue Mediterranean dome. 🤩⛪️ Inside you ́ll find a statue of the Virgen del Sufragio, the well-loved patron saint of Benidorm.
