Located in a beautiful restored palacete in the historic centre of Loulé, the gallery exhibits and offers contemporary photography from internationally renowned artists. We advise IN THE PINK with our expertise and helped realizing and curating the inaugural exhibition FASHION, presenting more than 40 photographs by three exceptional photographers: Bastiaan Woudt, Kristian Schuller and Albert Watson. The exhibition displays each artist on a separate floor, illustrating the theme of fashion in their own visual language. The entrance floor features Bastiaan Woudt, one of the most exciting artists in contemporary photography and whose development you should definitely watch out. Bastiaan is best known for his masterful portraiture, in which he gives his subjects a delicate, sculptural look. His work is minimalistic and inspired by the great masters of 50s, 60s and 70s photography. He honors this era while exploring how modern methods can elevate the style of today. With his charcoal tones and elegant compositions, his photography feels like stepping into a modern painting.
