A little backstory behind it: 🎨 Sho Shibuya began a daily painting practice a few years ago, which became an expressive outlet and stress reliever. When the pandemic hit and the stay-at-home order commenced in NYC, he started to paint his view of the sky from a small window in his apartment and used the front page of the New York Times as his canvas. He started to post his murals on Instagram, which soon became a visual diary and source of calm for him and thousands of others. Sho Shibuya creates extremely meaningful works in regard to current events.
