Very proud to announce our design for @pennyquarterhou was recognized as “runner-up” in the 2020 @papercityhouston Design Awards for Hospitality Design. It was an honor to be tasked with converting a historic #montrose building that once housed 80’s @etronightclub to an all-day café and wine bar. Though the footprint of the mezzanine stayed intact, the rest of the space underwent a huge transformation. Large windows were installed on the west wall to brighten the space, transitional colors and warm/soft finishes were used aesthetically transition the space from day to night, and the location and flow of the bar, back of house, served and service spaces we all rearranged. We were very happy to get to work on this project!
