All power to the people ✊🏾 One of my personal favorite things about leading the #TemescalRootsProject is the Oakland community members that have shown up, engaged in the conversation, and shared their stories. Also, the team behind this project is *chef’s kiss* good — the video content is proof. @amirazizphotos, @theoschear and team captured this at Honoring our Roots, the community conversation we hosted a few weeks back between former Black Panther Party members, @fredrikanewton, and @danakingart360 ✊🏾 Our final public event to ideate on a new public art piece in honor of the Party is tomorrow.
