Beating burnout with @aaroncavity for #AdobeRisingStars ⁠ • ⁠ When I start feeling a little burnt out creatively, I often really love to experiment with longer telephoto lenses, especially on the street. I find that it really forces you to slow down and compose your frame. The compression can also create a unique perspective within the urban landscape, you might otherwise not be able to achieve with a shorter lens. I recently went for a walk with my 135mm, specifically to photograph around the Ponce City Market area of Atlanta. The giant glowing marquee is always attractive, but on this evening, one of the letters happened to be burnt out, causing the sign to read as “ONCE”. I’ve photographed this sign many times, and never once (lol) saw the sign missing a letter. Happy to capture that uniquely flawed moment.⁠
