Here is the unfiltered true story of what happened on day one of the “Island X” film tour. Thanks to @altcamp_usa the tour was supported in a big way on day one with an epic luxury camper van. Our crew was so excited. But we never would have expected what would happen... As we headed north on the I-5 to Portland for our first tour stop, a Thanksgiving sized turkey flew onto the freeway and landed on our windshield at 70mph, came through the glass and hit @bobcatdavis in the head. We scrambled to salvage our plans. @altcamp_usa jumped in immediately and got us back in our feet quickly so we could make it to the first tour stop just in time. Big thanks to @altcamp_usa for the critical support and excellent service. They are unreal. We’re thankful that there were zero injuries and the rest of the tour was seamless. @risweiland was driving and expertly got us off the road and to safety. Can’t believe this actually happened!
