“Up from the ashes, into the sky” ✍🏾.... I know, I know, I’m not Jay or Diddy, yet. Hell, I’m only 3 toes into the game. But what I am is a “screw-up” who “grew up” and I’m finding my place. And that doesn’t suggest that I’ve reached the pinnacle of my growth but I have stepped beyond the ways of old. But don’t clap for me too loudly because I’ll surely disappoint you lol. I’m just working hard & making it do what it do. No badge of honor for that. I’m NO role model. The hand I was dealt caused me to learn A LOT the hard way. Shxx wasn’t always sweet around my feet and frankly, I’m embarrassed of the place I once operated from. But I’m better and I’m bigger. And in hindsight, I’m glad it hasn’t been all sweet because who better to influence folks than somebody who has BEEN ‘folks’??? I don’t wanna gain the worlds praise and adoration by promoting some fake ideal life. The world is saturated with so much of that crap already and that’s why it’s hard for young folks to respect the leaders because the leaders be messed up too yet promote perfection! I’d rather influence it by showing folks someone who has struggled with summa everything possible (personally and professionally), yet one who still pulled himself UP and made shxx happen- in spite of. I wanna show what Gods glory looks like, because IF GOD CAN TAKE MY FLAWED, CONFUSED, DAMAGED, INSECURE, BUT WORTHY SELF and use me to uplift, inspire, and uproot others thru the work that I’m doing in education & entertainment, then God is equally as capable and sufficient to all☝🏾.
