In the midst of disappointment, I appreciate everyone reaching out and offering their encouragement and unwavering support. I want to thank everyone in the @scarboroughshootingstars organization and the @cebleague for making this summer one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I didn't expect the outcomes of games to matter this much, I didn't expect to love this team the coaching staff and its players this much. I didn't expect Scarborough to embrace and care about this team this much. What happened here was special, this group became family and it showed on and off the court. Over the last 3 months I've made thousands of new friends and rekindled some old ones. From Victoria Park to Bluffers Park - from STC to UTSC I am very sorry we couldn't be champions this year, but their is no doubt the beautiful city of Scarborough was the biggest winner this season and that chip will be coming to the Ends very soon.
