What an incredible journey and it’s only the beginning ❤️ I booked this role @mikeonhulu from a self-submission. I had so much hesitation when I saw the role online, but ultimately asked myself “why not me?” I no longer wanted to be limited to the lack of roles provided for queer, trans, and non-binary artists. We EAT and SLAY too when given the opportunity. I’m so PROUD of this work. I only had ten boxing sessions to learn to fight...I had never thrown a punch in my life. I only had three voice and dialect sessions...never performed a New York accent before, especially with a lisp. For the small window I had to prepare I’m so fulfilled by the outcome.
