“It’s when we hit our lowest point that we are susceptible to the greatest change.” Symbolically, I’ve always loved the ebb and flow of the tides. Life is give and take. Push and pull. Constantly. There is no love or animosity in the tides. They just are. They push and pull. Negative energy can have a positive outcome and vice versa. But to control what we can and accept what isn’t is in essence the relationship between the ocean and the shore. Filmed some candid frames during my trip in Mexico and lately my headspace has been a reflection of these images in a lot of ways. It’s easy to feel like drowning or sinking in mental instability; but the thought of the negatives being necessary to push further into higher positives is a comforting feeling personally. I’m glad I dusted off my camera and decided to create for fun again. PS: yes I liked Moonlight. Might as well make it a submission to #shotdeckrecreations despite not being super accurate (last slide) 😅
