I am joining the queendom !!! I am forever in deep gratitude and awe of the unfoldment of this journey! The constant ebbs and flows. The droughts the floods. The uncertainty. The knowingness. The unknowingness. This life is so non linear, but every moment is an opportunity for more growth, and clarity. Just simply existing is success in my book! However, it is extremely potent , and synchronistic to be apart of a show who’s mission is to stand in our autonomy, and sovereignty, while simultaneously expressing ourselves as we see fit! We are multidimensional, and can be whoever we choose. The chance to retell this story of these 6 women who were defined so tragically by the patriarchal ways of the Tudor Era, and to do so not only as a women, but a women of color feels incredibly cathartic. I am holding the space for ALL women, trans women, marginalized, cast out, oppressed, those who identify as women, the abused, the victimized women. Deep deep healing to all. The opportunity to join this cast/ crew of incredibly creative, resilient, and talented individuals from all walks of life who bring joy to so many, and empower so many is a dream come true, and I am so grateful to express Catherine Parr’s story.
