My new skool / black and grey realism mash-up landmark tattoo from the latest episode of @inkmaster! Whew, that’s a mouthful! 😅 This was a tough ask, and I was really stoked on the tattoo I did! I’m forever thankful for my canvas’ trust on this one! 💗💗💗 Mashing up these two VERY different styles was so challenging! I wanted there to be a reason that the two styles would exist next to each other, and after spending what felt like forever sketching out different ideas, a yin yang came to mind! It was a fun way to split the styles and still keep it related to the landmark of the Forbidden City. 🥳 We were given six hours to tattoo, and I was still trying to finalize this design while the clock was ticking. I ended up starting the tattoo with four and a half hours to work, and let me tell you I used every last second to tattoo! ✍🏻✨ @inkmaster
