Develius l Edward van Vliet l 2018 —————— When we began working on Develius with leading Dutch designer Edward van Vliet, we knew we wanted to create a versatile sofa without sacrificing definitive form and aesthetic. Adopting Vliet’s signature holistic approach to design, the collaborative aim was to create a sofa that would exude relaxation. Realising there were an infinite number of ways in which one could lounge, and that the act itself was an entirely personal experience, the decision to make Develius a modular sofa became apparent. From using a singular module to create a quiet corner, to using a combination of modules to create a relaxing lounging arrangement - Develius, in any one of its available sizes, shapes and upholsteries - offers something for everyone.
